Jackets for the children of Naco, Sonora for 454 kids that have to go to school with no heat
Naco Wellness Initiative (NWI) and IBN (Iniciativa de Bienestar de Naco) will once again host the Christmas Spirit event at their facility in Naco, Sonora. Their volunteer force has surveyed the neediest residents and have identified a need for winter jackets for 454 four to seventeen year-old children. The club has committed at least $3,000 of our fundraiser earnings and we anticipate a total cost of around $6,500 (a big shout out to Print and Stitch of Bisbee, operated by Premier Alliances, Inc., another fine Bisbee non-profit, for providing a great quality jacket at cost and donating embroidery). NWI and IBN will also be providing food staple packages for over 300 families (generously funded by the Women’s and Children’s Hope Foundation).
